About Camping Equipment Shop
We publish detailed product information for camping, caravanning and motorhome touring: what a part is, what it fits, and what to check before you buy one.
What is here
1,501 product pages across 252 categories, covering awnings and awning fittings, gas regulators, hoses and pigtails, 12v electrics and lighting, steps, levellers, water and waste, furniture, and the vehicle-specific parts that fit particular campervan and motorhome conversions. Alongside those are our articles on kit, self-builds and touring.
Why it exists
Touring equipment is unusually hard to research. The terminology is inconsistent between manufacturers, the same part is sold under several names, and the detail that actually decides a purchase, such as a regulator's thread and pressure or an awning rail's profile, is often buried or missing altogether. We collect that detail in one place and write it down plainly, so you can identify a part on an older van and work out what replaces it.
How the information is put together
- Specifications come from the manufacturer or supplier. We do not invent detail, and we say when something is uncertain.
- Nothing is sold here. There is no basket and no checkout. Where a product is available, we link to a listing on Amazon.
- No prices are shown. Prices move constantly, so any figure here would be out of date within weeks. Check the price on the retailer's own page.
- Pages keep stable addresses, so links and bookmarks carry on working.
How we make money
This site is a member of the Amazon Associates programme. When you follow a link to Amazon and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is what pays for the site. It does not change what we write: the commission is the same whichever product you choose, so there is nothing to gain from steering you toward one over another. See the privacy policy and terms of use for the detail.
Accuracy and corrections
Specifications change and mistakes happen. If you spot something wrong, or you hold rights in material published here and want it removed, use the contact form and we will deal with it promptly.
Who runs it
The site is operated by Centraserve Ltd, a company registered in England. We are independent, and have no connection with any manufacturer or retailer whose products appear here. The contact form is the way to reach us.
