Gas Hose & BSP Threaded Fittings
Let's be honest here, neither flexible gas hose nor the associated brass fittings to use it are that exciting.
But good quality gas fittings, and the flexible gas pipe that goes between them, are critical to the safe enjoyment of your travelling home. Note that both gas hose and nozzles are the same item regardless of whether you use 8mm or 5/16" flexible pipe, a rare example of where the metric and Imperial measuring systems don't clash too badly.
SAFETY NOTE: The current advice is that you should replace your flexible gas hoses every few years for safety reasons. Don't take chances with your, or your family's, safety. Always get any gas work you do on your caravan checked afterwards by a competent professional.
