Also known as Thule Omni-Step Double 380 12v Omnistor product codes: 20333800 / 20 3338 00 / #20 3338 00 This Omni-Step 12v double 380 fits the assembly holes of older types of Hymer B-class motorhomes (from 1998).
Please go here if you require the larger Omni-Step 12v Double 440 (20 3341 00) or, wider still, Omni-Step 12v Double 500 (20 3350 00). This Omni-step 12v double is operated by a rocker switch which mounts where required inside the motorhome's doorwell, and conforms to both EMV and CE standards.
A sensor switch is included for the connection of a warning lamp (and/or buzzer), somewhere in the vehicle (normally the dashboard), so that you can't unknowingly drive away with your 12v Omni-step double extended. Note that the warning light itself is not supplied with the Omnistep, because the vast majority of purchasers wish to fit one that matches their vehicle dashboard (typically bought from either a motor-factors or main-dealer).
The corners of the Omni-step are rounded and give light in the darkness. Optionally, for maximum visibility, your motorised Omni-Step can be fitted with a set of Omni-Step LED lights (1 set per footboard, so 2 sets total for this double-step).
An optional 12v Omni-Step safety relay can ensure that these motorised steps are always folded up automatically when the motorhome's engine starts; a potentially useful safety feature. A fully automatic Omnistep 12v control box can also be installed as an option.
This ensures that the Omni-step is automatically unfolded when the door is opened, and automatically refolded again when the door is closed. The Omni-step itself is made of corrugated anodised aluminium, the fastening frame from aluminium or warm zinc plated steel.
