Thule awnings, or Omnistor awnings as they were known until quite recently, are great. The materials used are top quality and the assembly standards as good as you'll get anywhere. However, things can and sometimes do go wrong (most commonly when the awning is unwisely left open and inadequately secured in strong wind...).
