This Omnistor Hold Down Side Strap Kit protects the awning and front tent from damage due to high winds or storms.

This hold down side strap kit is strongly recommended with every awning purchased (as is an awareness of likely strong winds, and retracting any wind-out awning before leaving it unattended) because if the wind gets under the awning it's likely to prove very expensive, potentially destroying the awning and damaging the vehicle bodywork. For the minimal extra cost this is a small price to protect a substantial investment, so we always recommend it.
