In 2011, following 12 years of development and testing, Vango revolutionised tent design and camping by using inflatable AirBeams in place of traditional steel poles for rapid pitching in any environment. Their revolutionary AirBeam tents are transforming the way people camp. The inflatable beams fill quickly, allowing the user to pitch even a large family tent or driveaway awning in a matter of just 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size and number of AirBeams to be inflated.

In 2013 Vango rolled out its AirBeam technology into a range of AirAway drive-away awnings for campervans and motorhomes, when it introduced the AirAway collection of drive-away awnings for use with motorhomes and motorcaravans. The Kela and Sapera models offer convenient free-standing structures that can be quickly attached to your vehicle for additional living space or detached for a quick get away.

Vango have now introduced the AirAwning collection of static caravan awnings for 2014. The Vango Sanna and Vango Varkala AirAwnings offer durable, high quality inflatable caravan awnings that save time and take all the stress out of set up when you arrive on site. The next generation of caravan awnings has arrived courtesy of Vango AirBeam.

Vango AirBeams are pre-attached beams encased in a robust, double-skinned sleeve system that creates a stable structure when inflated, thus providing excellent weather resistance. Recognising the modern trend to save time and effort without compromising on performance, Vango designers have applied their extensive knowledge and experience of this AirBeam technology to develop superior awnings for all vehicles.
