Tecno Electric Campervan Step

Designed and manufactured by Mapa in Italy, the Nuova Mapa Tecno Step to give it its full title, or simply Techno Step as it is more commonly known in UK, is very much a premium solution to the problem of motorhome / motorcaravan ingress and egress.

The Tecno Step is available for both 12v electric operation, and manual use (both through design and in an emergency). The Tecno Step is available in the slideout, single tread or double tread configurations. Tread widths are available from 450mm to 710mm.

All Mapa Techno Steps are made from hot galvanised steel, and feature footboards made from anodised aluminium with side guards to help prevent sliding off. All Tecno Step kits include wiring to make fitment as simple as possible, thus reducing both time and cost of installation. All Techno Steps comply with EU & BS standard EN 1646 (a standard defining motor caravan habitation requirements relating to health and safety on leisure accommodation vehicles) thus ensuring Your safety. A user maintenance guide is included with every step.

Unfortunately, like many Italian companies, Nuova Mapa focuses heavily on innovative and attractively designed products rather than documenting reams of technical information. As such we currently have no technical drawings for this range (which we are stocking from 2014 onwards) so if you need this information to make a purchasing decision please contact us and we'll try to help you. The good news is that spare parts are available, should you ever need them in the future, although the build quality renders this unlikely.
