Wiring Safety Relay for Project 2000 Electric Steps

The wiring Safety relay ensures that the step automatically retracts when the engine is started. This is an important safety feature which not only protects the step from damage on fixed object such as gate-posts (as shown in this blog post of a damaged Omnistep), but also reduces the chances of inadvertently injuring a pedestrian whilst driving your motorcaravan with its electric step still extended. We recommend that this relay is used whenever a Project 2000 Electric Step is fitted to any self-propelled vehicle.
